Watson Edinburgh Microscope

The Watson polarization microscope, the Edinburgh model, was introduced in the early 1930s. It features Continental type fine focus and uses the tripod foot that was favored in England, as opposed to the horseshoe type foot which was prevalent among the European microscope makers. A most elegant instrument.
